What we do

Thirdgreenovo researches and publishes general consumer guidance about the UK mobile sector: how the networks are structured, how regulated processes such as switching and complaints work, and how to stay safe from telecoms fraud. We also operate a guidance line for callers who prefer to talk a general process through with a person.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell mobile contracts, SIMs, or handsets.
  • We do not access, view, or change any network account — we have no ability to.
  • We do not take payments, card details, banking information, or one-time passcodes, ever.
  • We do not represent, resell for, or partner with any network operator.

Our independence policy

We accept no commissions or sponsorship from network operators. Network names and trade marks appear on this site solely to identify the subject of guidance, exactly as a newspaper's consumer column would name them. Where our information could become dated, each page carries a "last reviewed" date and we encourage readers to verify time-sensitive details with official sources — the networks themselves and Ofcom.
